I grew up in Queens, New York and attended the San Francisco Art Institute to study drawing. I finished my BA degree at Bennington College with a major in painting and dance. After living in New York City for 12 years I moved to the Hudson Valley in New York.

I have continued my studies in dance and abstract drawing while also studying organic gardening and garden design at the New York Botanical Gardens in Bronx, New York. I love living in the country and get inspiration for my art from watching and listening as I explore the natural world.
